Registered Behavioral Technician Job DescriptionPOSITION
Summary:
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings.
RBTs collect data on said protocols, assist with parent training, and assist with clinical assessments as needed.
Essential components of this position are listed below but subject to change at the discretion of Center for New Beginnings.

Specific duties & responsibilities will vary depending upon certification, experience and need.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Direct therapy with client with necessary support from lead RBT, Clinic Manager, or BCBA including:
Data collection with at least 80% IOA Following BIP if applicable Successful set up of session Appropriate communication with parents at pick-up and drop off Preference assessment if neededABC data if requested by BCBASession notes completed on time Within 48 hours after the end of session Communication with BCBA via email or google meet Complete RBT supervision log by the end of the monthPrep time before each session:
Set up client materials Gather reinforcers Read over Central Reach if any changes occur Attend team meetings
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.
Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws.
Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standards.
Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and writing.
Must maintain a professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment.
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements.
Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
Must have reliable transportationResponsible for completing and maintaining all required certifications and training once employed including, but not limited to:
CPR, Fingerprinting & Passing Background Checks, RBT training and other company in-services and training as directed by employment supervisor.
Qualifications:
RBT:
Entry Level - Experience with population served is preferred but not required.
RBT Promotions:
Potential for Lead RBT based on experience, performance and educationMust be willing to work a full time schedule between 35-40 hours per week.

Required:
High School Diploma.
Preferred:
Have completed 60 hours of college coursework from an accredited university.
Enrollment in college coursework for at least 6 hours per semester from an accredited university and/or at least 6 months of experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services may be substituted for 60 hours of completed college coursework.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or a related field.

Center for New Beginnings main clinic is located in Waynesboro, GA.
We offer clinic, in-home, or school-based therapy in the following counties:
Richmond, Columbia, Burke, Jenkins, Screven, and Jefferson.
We have therapists that are primarily clinic, both in-home and clinic, as well as some who commute between counties to serve our clients.
We are looking for therapists with availability in the counties listed above and we are interested in expanding should staffing arise.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
