Job Description:
Mechanical Drafter II Job Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery using computer-assisted equipment.
Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
Design scale or full-size blueprints of specialty items such as furniture and automobile body or chassis components.
Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials.
Layout and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge of relevant computer application, such as CADD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting).
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technologyKnowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
Team player and detail oriented.
High school diploma or GED required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
