Marshall Part-Time Wellness Floor Staff
General Statement of Duties:
Under direction of the Wellness Coordinator, the Wellness Floor Staff serves as the cross functional support to our Members.
Willing to initiate and build effective and positive relationships with members
Demonstrate/coach members on the proper use of all equipment
Works to ensure member safety and enjoyment
Assist with housekeeping/maintenance of all areas used to ensure cleanliness
Excellent human relations and communication skills
Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
Ability to communicate effectively
Detail oriented
Possess strong organizational skills
Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma
CPR and First Aid Certification (within 45 days)
At least one year of experience as a Personal Trainer, preferred
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Status: Part time - Non-Exempt, Flexible hours including nights and weekends
Location: Marshall Family YMCA
Hourly Rate - $7.25 flexible hours, nights and weekends
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
